Exact Description of this Specific Motorcar
A highly desirable limited edition Mclaren as part of the "Ultimate" series, the speedtail has already achieved legendary status and this example was first registered in Montana in the USA. Finished in Burton Blue - and £11k option - the car features blue and black leather-trimmed three-position seating with a central driver’s position - in homage to the Mclaren F1.
The twin-turbo 4.0 litre V8 works in conjunction with an electric motor to send a output of 1,036 hp to the rear wheels through a seven-speed Graziano dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Additional features include light blue calipers over carbon-ceramic discs, active suspension, diamond-cut 10-spoke wheels with static front carbon-fibre covers, power-operated dihedral doors, retractable rearview cameras, hydraulically actuated flexible carbon-fibre rear ailerons, and an electrochromic glass canopy. The car comes with a build sheet, “show or display” paperwork, tools, a first-aid kit, and a car cover. A plaque listing the car as #97 of 106 produced is affixed to the rear bulkhead.
The build sheet lists standard and optional equipment as well as a total price of £1,803,000.

General description of Make and/or Model of this Motorcar:
The Speedtail was revealed in October 2018 as the next offering in McLaren’s Ultimate Series. Featuring a teardrop profile over a modified version of McLaren’s Monocage carbon-fiber chassis tub, the Speedtail entered production in 2020 after achieving a top speed of 250 mph during testing at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Styling includes a glass cockpit canopy, dual hydraulically actuated ailerons blended into the flexible carbon-fiber tail, retractable rearview cameras in lieu of mirrors, and dihedral doors.
The 10-spoke diamond-cut gloss black wheels are wrapped in 235/35ZR20 front and 315/30ZR21 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. Front carbon-fiber aero covers remain in a fixed position during rotation of the wheels to smooth and guide airflow over the wheel faces. The hydraulically controlled active suspension utilizes aluminum components. Metallic light blue brake calipers with McLaren branding are fitted over carbon-ceramic discs, and stopping is also aided by the rear ailerons and a regenerative braking system.
In a nod to the McLaren F1, the cockpit features a three-place seating configuration, with the driver positioned centrally and forward of two passenger seats that are integrated into the chassis tub. The passenger seats are wrapped in blue leather, while the driver’s seat is trimmed in black. The two-tone color scheme extends to the dashboard, door panels, sills, and floor, and a McLaren logo is present on the driver’s headrest while embroidered Speedtail silhouettes accent the passenger seats. The canopy and upper windshield are composed of electrochromic glass that can be darkened at the driver’s command. An overhead console panel houses an engine start button along with controls for various drive modes. Overhead switches operate the doors and window panels.
