Exact Description of this Specific Motorcar
With regular Mercedes-Benz servicing to date, this 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS Roadster presents in a sleek Obsidian Black exterior, complemented by its Designo Red Exclusive Leather interior, and boasts just 9,300 miles on the odometer – a testament to its meticulous care and limited usage.
Every detail of this vehicle radiates power, from the 19”/20” AMG weight-optimised forged 10 spoke alloys in matte black to the distinctive red brake callipers that hint at its high-performance capabilities. Equipped with a powerful 8-cylinder engine, this roadster delivers seamless performance and acceleration on the open road. The DCT ensures effortless gear shifts, while the optional AIRSCARF feature keeps the driver comfortable with a gentle flow of air around the neck and shoulders, allowing top-down driving all year round.
As the convertible variant of the SLS AMG, this model incorporates several enhancements to
compensate for the absence of a fixed roof. These upgrades include reinforced side skirts with
increased wall thickness and additional chambers, as well as a strengthened dashboard cross-
member with extra struts against the windscreen frame and centre tunnel. Additionally, a
reinforcing cross-member behind the seats bolsters the fixed roll-over protection system, ensuring structural integrity and safety without compromising the car’s performance or aesthetics.
Inside the cabin, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound surround sound system provides unparalleled audio quality for a fully immersive auditory experience. Seamlessly integrated, the satellite navigation system ensures route guidance for every trip, while memory seats provide personalised comfort for every journey.
With only four owners from new and accompanied by two key fobs, this Roadster is ready to
embark on its next adventure with its fortunate new owner. Please note, the cherished plate 'PVA5' is not part of the sale, and the car will be coming with it's original plate

General description of Make and/or Model of this Motorcar:
Crafted by the skilled hands of the Mercedes-AMG division, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG remains
a revered model of the iconic brand’s lineup. This front mid-engined, 2-seater grand tourer pays
homage to the iconic 300SL Gullwing, drawing inspiration from its illustrious predecessor.
Released in 2011, it marked a significant milestone in Mercedes-Benz’s history as the first model
entirely designed and built by AMG, blending performance and luxury into what became known as
the ‘Super Leicht Sport’ (Super Light Sport) model.
The SLS debuted at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, heralding a new era of innovation and design,
with Mercedes-Benz’s dedication to cutting-edge technology further demonstrated with the
introduction of the SLS AMG Electric Drive model at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. With many SLS
models produced between 2009 and 2014, production concluded with the unveiling of the SLS
AMG GT Final Edition, capping off an era defined by unparalleled performance.
Setting itself apart from its predecessor, the Mercedes-McLaren SLR, the SLS emerged as a force
to be reckoned with on track. The hand-built 6.2-litre V8 engine under its hood delivered an
exhilarating 583 hp and 479 Nm of torque, allowing for effortless acceleration from 0 to 60 in just
3.7 seconds. But it wasn’t just about straight-line speed. The SLS AMG also boasted a lightweight
aluminium space frame construction, ensuring superb handling and agility through corners. Its
double-wishbone suspension setup and precise steering made every twist and turn a joy to
navigate, and the model is still renowned for its incredible track prowess today.
Embracing its rich heritage, the SLS offered both convertible and gullwing coupe options, with the
iconic gullwing doors a signature feature reminiscent of its predecessor. This blend of heritage and
innovation earned the SLS acclaim from both critics and enthusiasts alike, including coveted
awards such as the Red Dot and iF product design awards in 2010. The convertible configuration,
the Roadster, featured conventional doors and a three-layered fabric soft top that opened and
closed in just 11 seconds, and could be operated on the move at up to 31 mph.
From every angle, the SLS Roadster exudes confidence and sophistication. Offering a plethora of
customisable options, from luxurious leather upholstery to state-of-the-art entertainment systems and advanced safety features, its unveiling at the 2011 Frankfurt International Motor Show undoubtedly heralded a new era of automotive excellence.
