Exact Description of this Specific Motorcar
Porsche 996 GT3 RS - a Porsche GB press car
One of only 140 RHD cars built, the GT3 RS when first introduced in 2003 was a more track-focused version of the 996 GT3.
Featuring the characteristic coloured wheels and side stickers invoking classic 911's like the Carrera 2.7 RS of the early 70s.
The 996 GT3 RS is lighter than the standard GT3 thanks to a polycarbonate rear window, carbon fibre hood and rear wing.
Porsche also made improvements to the 'Mezger' with reshaped intake and exhaust ports on the cylinder heads resulting in a 10-15hp improvement over the GT3.
The GT3 RS also has stiffened suspension with uprated dampers and progressive springs.
This car was a Porsche GB Press car and includes a leather wallet with the complete set of original books. It presents an opportunity to acquire a real race car for the road.
