A low mileage reference example of a Ferrari Enzo ready to join any collection
The 330th Enzo built in chassis sequence, #135875 was completed in January 2004 and delivered to Ineco Auto in Italy for it's first owner Egon Agostini, an active member of Cavallino Owners Club Dolomiti.
3 years later the car was sold to another Italian, Pier Angelo Masselli of Reggio Emilia. The car was then exported to Switzerland and inspected by Modena Cars, Geneva. It was then sold by a Swiss dealer to Vladimir Merson, a banker in Moscow who was resident in the UK at the time. A serious enthusiast, the car was part of a collection which included multiple 288 GTO's, F40's, F50's, MC12 and other Ferrari and Lamborghini models.
Merson had the car registered on English plates as HY 04 FHN in 2008 and during his long term ownership the car was sparingly used, professionally stored, periodically started up, never damaged and ultimately sold to it's next owner as a genuine low miles collector grade Enzo.
The next owner acquired the car in 2024 and it was re-registered as 9 SP in December last year.
The car is now back on it's original HY04 FHN number plates and has full Ferrari documented service history - with the last service havng taken place on the 23rd of June at Maranello in Egham.
Complete with full Ferrari Red Book Classiche, Massini report, all handbooks, documents, spare key, even it's original delivery tyres(!), although replacement tyres have been fitted.
The car needs nothing other than a new custodian who wants to add a reference grade Enzo to a collection.
General description of Make and/or Model of this Motorcar:
Named after the Ferrari founder, the Enzo (Type F140) was developed in 2002 using Ferrari F1 technology, including a carbon-fibre body, F1-style automated-shift manual transmission, carbon fibre-reinforced silicon carbide ceramic composite disc brakes, as well as technologies not allowed in F1, such as active aerodynamics which resulted in 775 kgs of downforce at 186 mph.
The bold styling was a real departure for Ferrari, penned by Ken Okuyama, the then Pininfarina head of design. Active aero meant the huge rear wing of the preceeding F50 was unnecessary and the general style was more high tech, functional fighter jet, than a contrived aesthetic.
The engine, the heart of any Ferrari, was a 65 degree 6 litre V12 which not only produced 650 bhp but was also blessed with great torque and sounded majestic. The performance figures were commensurately impressive with a top speed of 217 mph, 0-60 mph in 3.14 seconds and 0-100 mph in 6.6 seconds.
A limited production run of 399 units was announced at the 2002 Paris motors show but a 400th example was built and donated to the Vatican for charity and subsequently sold at auction.
Nowadays highly coveted by collectors and the last pure, naturally aspirated, Ferrari hypercar undiluted with any hybrid assistance.
